Hospitable's direct booking websites suffered a slow down for approximately 20 minutes, we have now resolved the issue.

This incident has been resolved. VRBO messaging and reservation syncing are now fully functional.

Hosts with disconnected Vrbo accounts will need to reconnect their Vrbo channel(s) using the “Hospitable – Vrbo Connection” Chrome extension by following the step-by-step instructions provided here: https://help.hospitable.com/en/articles/13064450

A fix was deployed on Airbnb's side on Thu, Feb 26, 2026 02:57 UTC.
At this point, the messages are still missing from the API and we are waiting for a resolution from Airbnb for when they will be restored.

Our smart devices partner, Seam, has confirmed that the outage has been resolved. All systems are now up and running, including device management such as Smart lock codes and thermostat presets syncs.

Vrbo API is operational.

Incident affecting chat: Smarty is currently down. We're monitoring the status page for the software that powers Smarty and will update once it's back up and running.
